Beatrice Jackson 

Beatrice Brown Jackson was born and raised in Norfolk, Va. After completing college at the Norfolk Division of Va State College (Norfolk State University), '67, she and her late husband, Fred Jackson Jr, began their teaching career  in Brooklyn, NY. She earned her Master's and Certificate in School Psychology in 1986, and  retired as a School Psychologist in 2002.

 

Fred and Bea successfully raised  4 children, LaDonya, Shania, and twins, Damalia and Fred lll.

 

She became a Deaconess at the historic Emmanuel Baptist church, and was ordained as one of the first female Deacons, under her pastor, Rev Anthony L. Trufant., in 1993.

 

She is a member of Brooklyn Alumnae, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. , NAACP, NCNW, AARP, Age Friendly Central Brooklyn, NSUAA, Metro Chapter, and the Girl Scouts. In these organizations, Bea has held many positions; as President, Vice President, Secretary, Committee Chair, and Chaplain. She was a Girl scout troop leader for more than 45 years!

 

She tried to live her life in service to others. As her late Mother, Martha Almond, would say, "If I can help Somebody, along the way, then my living will not be in vain."

Valerie Knight

I am honored to be nominated by the Christian Women’s Alliance, a community of believers committed to undergirding, building up, and encouraging women in the areas of community service, business and ministry. As we embrace this year’s theme — Ten Times Better Kingdom Intelligence — I stand boldly in my declaration: I will not shrink my life to fit my age. God is not finished with me.

I am a retired educator of 31 years, a proud mother of two sons Kevin & Kyle ,and a joyful grandmother of two Cianni and Kevin III. I serve faithfully at God’s Anointed Touch Ministries under the leadership of Bishop and Apostle Hunter, and I am committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus in every space He places me.

Thank you for the nomination and for recognizing the impact God continues to make through my life. I want my life to be a testimony of who God is and I will live it boldly.

Pastor Elaine Shaw

Pastor Elaine Shaw was born in Hartsville, South Carolina. On September 10, 1977 she married Odell Shaw Sr. Out of this union God blessed them with three wonderful children. 

 

In December of 1977, the couple began their military journey in Savannah, Georgia. Pastor Elaine accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age and has always joined a ministry ready to work and obey the word of God. Faithfully supporting the vision of the set man and woman of God. Pastor Elaine started a women’s fellowship and children’s ministry wherever her husband received military orders. Pastor Elaine’s training at different military bases led her to volunteer as a family resource worker. She helped young married soldiers’ wives to adapt to the military lifestyle, and she coached wives through labor and delivery when their spouses were deployed. 

 

Pastor Elaine led small group bible studies for women, organized food pantries, taught Sunday school, and youth ministries. She established her own “in-home daycare” center and was in business for nine years. She has always volunteered at the public school system and daycare centers as a mentor for at-risk children. In 1998 Pastor Elaine began working as a Family Support Worker for the City of Hampton and retired in 2025. 

 

In 2017, Pastor Elaine was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer that doctors say is incurable, and the life expectancy is 6 years. After 9 months of chemotherapy, she went through Stem cells transplant, having enough good cells, she was able to use her own. In 2021, she experienced a subarachnoid hemorrhage (brain bleed) stroke. She spent 3 weeks in ICU and 6 months of rehab, learning to walk and regain daily self-care. Pastor Elaine lives every day to do God's will! Believing his promises, and being a blessing to others.


Pastor Elaine believes in God’s word and stands on Proverbs 3:5-6, for she has learned what trusting in God will do. She currently is co-Pastor with her husband at Restoration Family Life Center, which they founded and established in 2003 in Newport News Virginia where the couple resides. She is the grandmother of six grandchildren and one Grand fur baby.

Apostle Latonya R. Hite

Apostle LaTonya R. Hite is a richly anointed, equipped, and empowered minister of revival for the 21st Century.  She is consumed with a burning desire for every soul to live in liberty and remains committed to advancing the Kingdom of God from the neighborhood to the nations. As a student of truth from the Hebraic perspective, she boldly and soundly proclaims Yeshua’s (Jesus’) message of salvation, hope, and love. She was licensed as a minster in 2003 and ordained as an Elder in 2011. In 2013, Apostle Hite began her pastoral work by planting Bethel Revival Assemblies in Emporia, Virginia. Since her affirmation as an Apostle in 2021, Bethel has expanded to include evangelistic and teaching-oriented ministries in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Apostle Hite is also the founder and president of the Lifeline Prayer Network, which engages in strategic intercession and creates training initiatives to build and deploy strong intercessors. Apostle Hite’s spiritual service extends to her role as an advisor to several para-ministries, Christian-based businesses, and faith-based recovery and transitional programs. She has also participated in the Petersburg, Virginia YMCA’s annual community prayer initiative and represented the ecumenical community at the Greensville County Public Schools Convocation. She continues to travel nationally and internationally to render powerful conferences and revivals pertaining to prayer, leadership development, women’s empowerment, and her first love, praise and worship – having passionately served as a worship leader for over 25 years.

 

Apostle Hite also seeks to fulfill the Kingdom agenda in her homelife as a wife, mother, daughter, and sister; in her professional career as a biblical counselor and mental health services coordinator; and in her lifelong pursuit of self-improvement through learning. Currently, she is completing a doctoral degree in Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Counseling. Apostle Hite resides in her hometown of Petersburg, Virginia with her husband, Larry. Together, they share one daughter, Autumn. 

Elder Danielle Harris-Branch

     Danielle Harris-Branch is an award winning author of "The Payoff of Pain," a book born from her own journey of love, loss, and resurrection as the proud wife of the late Delmar M. Branch, transformational mindset coach, Al strategist, owner of Image Promoters, LLC, and founder of Global Girls Connect. Known as "The Resurrection Queen," she turns trauma into testimony and grief into growth. A survivor of dual simultaneous cancer diagnoses and Stevens Johnson Syndrome, a life threatening condition affecting only 1 to 2 in a million people, she knows firsthand what it means to be pulled from the edge of death and still choose to rise. Her miraculous story has been featured in many leading magazines. She is the proud daughter of Dr. James F. and Lady Sylvia H. Harris of Redeemed Assembly of Jesus Christ, where she serves faithfully, Danielle was raised in purpose and has walked through fire to fulfill it. An entrepreneur since the age of 12 and former salon owner, she has always known how to build something beautiful from nothing. She equips women to rise unshakable, reclaim their identity, and walk boldly in purpose. Her message is clear: what tried to bury you can build you.

    Blending faith, coaching strategies, and cutting edge Al innovation, Danielle resurrects women from emotional graves and revives churches from digital decline. As Executive Director of R.E.A.C.H. Community Services, Inc., she extends that same resurrection power into her community, helping leaders and ministries modernize their message, expand their reach, and ignite authentic impact in a global world. Overseer Rebecca Duckworth

Overseer Rebecca G. Ducksworth, a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, was raised in the faith under the guidance of her mother and the Rayford Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Greater First Apostolic Temple Church, where she was baptized and mentored by Bishop Melton, whose leadership helped shape her spiritual foundation. She accepted her call to preach in 2001.

 

Overseer Ducksworth graduated from Clarksdale High School, attended Coahoma Junior College, and continued her studies at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her ministerial development has been influenced by leaders, including Bishop Abraham Yarbrough and Bishop Nathaniel Davis Sr. She is the co-founder of The New City of VA, International and has ministered throughout the United States.

 

A respected leader in her community, Overseer Ducksworth founded the Bleeding Hearts Need Mending Conference in 2005, a women’s outreach focused on healing and restoration. Her honors include the ACHI Woman of Achievement Award, The Next Generation Fellowship Ministries, Inc. Synergy & Leadership Award, and Jeanna’s iFeed Community Initiatives Award. Overseer Ducksworth is an accomplished twotime #1 bestselling author. Among many other accomplishments, she leads a weekly Words of Encouragement and Prayer Line that reaches individuals across the U.S. and abroad.

 

Overseer Ducksworth is grateful for God’s grace, her family, and her husband of thirty-nine years, Apostle Dannie R. Ducksworth. She remains committed to serving with humility, transforming lives, in ministry, while standing with her husband supporting the vision the Lord imparted into him for The New City of VA, International.

Tanecia Newman

Fitness Instructor + Nonprofit Leader + Wellness Advocate + The F.I.T. Life Coach™️

 

Tanecia Newman is an award-winning fitness instructor who uses her platform to encourage, inspire, and empower individuals to Live Well. 

 

In her own personal journey of healing, she discovered how movement helped her emotionally and mentally; it helped her cope, heal, and overcome the effects of painful experiences, including the most recent painful experience - the passing of her 23-year-old daughter. 

 

Desiring to help others achieve wellness, in 2016, Tanecia established her business, NewMan Fitness, a mobile boutique fitness company that provides comprehensive exercise classes suitable for all fitness levels; and in 2019, Founded NewMan Fitness Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit community wellness organization providing nutrition education, movement-based programs, and wellness support services.

 

Tanecia has established roots in the community through her philanthropic work which includes, leading a host of fitness events that raises awareness on social and economic issues; providing access to free or low-cost fitness programs to help close health gaps that affect vulnerable populations; and volunteering her time and talents to various community outreach events with a variety of nonprofit organizations.

 

Tanecia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in legal studies, she is an Author, Certified Life Coach, Peer Recovery Specialist, International speaker, and Licensed International dance fitness instructor, who fuses her education and experiences to create impactful fitness programs and life-changing services. She's also currently working towards her Masters degree in Recreational Therapy.
